Celebrating 25
years perpetuating
Hawaiian Culture in
Los Angeles

Ke Po‘okela Cultural Foundation workshops serve as a cultural enrichment experience that contributes
to the perpetuation and preservation of the Hawaiian culture.  It is a community event, taught by Hawai'i’
s esteemed educators, cultural specialists, historians, elders, and teachers whose purpose is to share
the Hawaiian culture through dance, music, arts, demonstrations, lectures and crafts. It is also a social
event that brings the community together in the spirit of aloha (love) and lokahi (harmony).

Revenues raised are contributed to the Scholarship Trust Fund used to send California fifth graders to
Hawai'i to attend the
Kamehameha Schools’ Hawaiian Exploration Summer School Program, and to fund
the future Hawaiian Cultural Arts Workshops.
